January

We  made these adorable blankets for both our nephews birthdays. Don't miss Whiskers....the outside, rescue, porch kitty.

Reagan was Head of the Herd.

While in Texas for Jax birthday, Pappy took us to American Girl. Gracyn had Christmas money to spend and I am way too afraid of traffic to head to downtown Dallas by myself.

Back at Mimi's house before the birthday party. I have squeezed in snuggle naps every time I have seen this little guy. This was probably my last. He is getting big quick.

Erica's nephew Colton. We love him.

There is a Hulk in my house.

Gracyn is in a cartwheeling phase. She is upside down half the time!!!

That had nothing to do with her busting her head open though. She did that at a regular night at bible study. Her head just hit the corner of a coffee table just right.

When you have seen your sister get stiches, you don't want that. We were all settled in the room, praying for glue. It ended up being a tough call and I thought at the last minute we would have to stich it, as the bleeding kept coming back. But, we got it glued.

Back home glued and happy.

One of our best friends, Anna, had a tea party birthday. The girls all LOVED it, except the tea. They loved the fancy place settings, the formal atmosphere, the macaroons, everything but the tea.

Loving on babies at church on Sundays.

Super Bowl party!!!

And, some fun event at Gracyn's class. I can't remember what, but I love going to school anytime I can.

We had a super-fun long weekend trip to Texas in January to celebrate Jax's first birthday. Mimi's backyard is always fun, we loved catching up with family, the weather was beautiful and my sister had quite the Mickey party set up.

New Years

The Sphires came to visit for their 2nd annual New Year's trip. They almost didn't make it due to flooding in Missouri, but they persevered, drove 4 hours more than it should have taken and made it in spite of all the road closures. It was great, relaxing long weekend catching up with good friends. We took them around Bentonville, shared traditional Zaxby's shakes, played loads of games (Apples to Apples was this years fav), played with pets, dressed up and the kids performed tons of shows. Amanda, Addison and I had our first experience at the Dillard's New Years Day sale. It was utter chaos, but so much fun. Can't wait for next year. Love a few days time out to catch up with some of our favorites.
