Trick or Treat off the Street at the Wildlife Experience. We have been to this every year, and it is a family favorite. They have crafts, games, and candy stations. Spin Art was probably this year's favorite.
The Lynch girls always host an afternoon party for the playgroup kids on the block. It is always a favorite. They see everyone's costumes for the first time, make yummy treats, do a craft and play games.
Addison's kindergarten had a party Friday that Gracyn, Reagan and I got to visit for. They made cookies with a giant overload of icing, played Halloween bingo, and wrapped their teacher up like a mummy.
Saturday afternoon, brought the annual block party. Tommy went as House....he is a great look alike for Dr. House. I wish I had a better picture. He was complete with a cane and a pill bottle of vicadin (gum)!
We locked the little ones outside, so we could really party!!! Just kidding, they were begging us to close the door on them. For some reason, it was the best game ever.
I tried to be the Dr. Cameron to Tommy's House. Note to all readers, the lab coat at party city IS NOT one size fits all! There could have been 3 of me in that jacket.
Finally, for the grand finale!!! Trick or Treating. The Pyle's came and joined the neighborhood. We ordered pizza, had a quick dinner and then took some very excited girls outside. Addison and Kylie literally ran from house to gathering candy. They were so thrilled.
At some point, we ended up crossing paths with several nieghborhood friends. We headed, as a pack of 21, across the street to our friends Matt and Mary's house. They went to high school with Tommy, then lived a mile or two from us in The Woodlands. A few months after we moved here, an unrelated job opportunity came up for him and they moved a block away. So, we have never missed a year, trick-or-treating at their house.
Mary was surprised at the size of the group on her front porch!
